Once the thicknessing is done, the C-holes (in some cases F-holes) are cut out with a coping saw, and cleaned up with files and a very sharp knife. The next step is to fit the bass bar into the belly. With chalk, patience, and more patience, the bass bar made of a piece of pine, is fitted exactly against the top and glued in. |
